Why we chose the name "Tela"
The name illustrates our vision for the future of Internet communication.
Tela is a Spanish word with several meanings, including "fabric" and "web". [1]
We chose the name for its simplicity, but also as an inspiration.
Our long-term goal is to build a new blockchain-based messaging protocol for the Internet.
Such a protocol would be a tapestry of nodes, a web of channels that can deliver messages securely and profitably.
The name Tela illustrates our vision for the future of Internet communication.
